Several Houston and Smithers residents were at last night’s (Wednesday) All Candidates Forum in Houston.
This was hosted by the Houston Chamber of Commerce.
In attendance were NDP Incumbent Taylor Bachrach, Conservative Candidate Ellis Ross, and CHP Leader Rod Taylor.
Liberal Candidate Inderpal Dhillon and Green Candidate Adeana Young did not attend.
Some of the topics covered by questions from the chamber included provincial trade barriers, workers support, and supply chain reliability.
From the audience, questions touched on healthcare, gun regulations, the Northwest Resource Benefits Alliance, and the first past to post election system.
Tonight (Thursday), the Burns Lake Chamber of Commerce is hosting a forum at the Heritage Church starting at 6:00.
