Only two candidates have confirmed their attendance for the Houston All Candidates Forum on Wednesday, April 16th.
Those are Christian Heritage Party Leader Rod Taylor and NDP Incumbent Taylor Bachrach.
According to the Houston Chamber of Commerce, Conservative Candidate Ellis Ross won’t be at the event, and Liberal Candidate Inderpal Dhillon hasn’t confirmed his attendance.
The chamber said they are attempting to reach Green Candidate Adeana Young and so far, have not been successful.
“For some people in our community, especially seniors or those who don’t use social media, this might be the one time they get to learn about or meet the candidates,” they posted on Facebook.
The forum takes place at the Houston Community Hall starting at 7:00 p.m.
General voting day is April 28th.
