Bulkley Valley Christian did the best out of the teams from Smithers, Vanderhoof, Hazelton, and Fort St. James at the B.C. High School Girls Basketball Provincial Championships in Langley.
They finished in the middle of the 16-team tournament after a 64-52 loss to Ucluelet in the game for 7th and 8th in 1A.
Fort St. James placed 13th in 1A after a 56-32 victory over Southpointe Academy in the game for 13th and 14th.
In 2A, Nechako Valley beat Hazelton 56-48 in the game for 15th and 16th.
This week the Langley Events Centre will host the Boys Basketball Provincials starting on Wednesday.
