The season is over for the Smithers Steelheads.
Smithers lost 10-2 to the Stampeders Saturday in Williams Lake as the Stampeders took that best-of-3 series 2-0 in the Central Interior Hockey League.
In Hazelton, the Wolverines beat the Prince Rupert Rampage 5-3 Saturday and 6-3 Sunday to win the series 2-1 and advance to the semi-finals.
The Wolverines host the Terrace River Kings on Saturday.
