The Smithers Steelheads scored a 4-3 overtime victory over the Prince Rupert Rampage on Saturday in the Central Interior Hockey League (CIHL).
Niko Clarke, Jonathan Creswell, and Kodi Schwarz each scored in the first two periods with Jeremy Lager tallying the OT winner.
On Sunday, the Hazelton Wolverines lost 7-4 against the visiting Williams Lake Stampeders.
Rajin Khera, Joel Patsey, Sean Maktaak, and Carson Pawlenchuck each scored a goal for Hazleton.
The Steelheads are home again on Saturday against the Kitimat Ice Demons while the Wolverines visit the Nechako Northstars in Vanderhoof.
