Hudson Bay Mountain is closed today (Wednesday) due to freezing temperatures sweeping through the Bulkley Valley.
General Manager Lex Rei-Jones said they hope to re-open on Sunday and are monitoring temperatures daily.
“We have a cold threshold where we can’t operate if it’s colder than -20 for the chair lift and -25 for the T-bar.”
The closure is to ensure the safety of skiers, staff, and their equipment.
