Two projects in the Bulkley Valley and Lakes District have received funding from Prince George Community Foundation.
Nearly $46,000 has been provided to the Bulkley Valley Regional Pool and Recreational.
This would be to update their facilities.
Additionally, the Village of Burns Lake received just over $25,000 to build a dual-season sport court.
According to PGCF, this funding is a part of the Canada Healthy Communities Initiative.
This $60 million initiative is a way Canada and Community Foundations of Canada is providing safer spaces and improving the quality of life for people across the country.
PGCF announced over $900,000 in funding today (Thursday) to support 17 projects across the province.
