Smithers RCMP has confirmed that one person has died and another is in serious but stable condition following a crash early Saturday morning.
The event took place around 3:30 am on Old Babine Lake Road, where a vehicle was involved in a rollover that ejected both occupants upon impact.
Officials did have Old Babine Lake Road temporarily closed while they conducted their investigation.
Anyone with information regarding the accident is asked to call the Smithers RCMP detachment at 250-847-3233.
