WestJet is facing yet another strike threat….this time from its 670 aircraft mechanics.
The Aircraft Mechanics Fraternal Association says they’ll walk off the job tomorrow (Thursday) evening at 6:00 (Pacific time) if a new agreement isn’t signed.
The Association says WestJet cut off talks this week….so they have no option but to threaten a walkout.
The company says they want a federal arbitrator to lay out a potential deal…a process it considers fair.
WestJet has already cancelled 40 flights through today, affecting 65-hundred passengers.
More cancellations are likely.
